Once You’re There

There are plenty of things to do and places you can visit when coming from abroad. Belgium has a well-connected train network, making day trips easy and convenient. Many Belgian cities have well-preserved historical architecture and are tourist favorites: Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges, Namur and Dinant are all worth a visit.

If you are looking for typical tourist attractions around Brussels, there is of course the Atomium, and the statue of Manneken Pis (along with his lesser-known friends Jeanneke and Zinneke). Brussels has several nice parks that are popular with locals on a sunny day: Terkamerenbos, the Cinquantenaire Park, Woluwe Park, and Parc de Bruxelles.

If the weather is nice, you will see many people sitting outside a terrace to eat or to have a drink. The Gault & Millau website lists many great restaurants. Closer to the wedding date, we will suggest things to do depending on the weather and guests visiting from abroad.
